Getting There

By road:

Please click here for an OS map of the area. Take the A862 West from Inverness towards Beauly. Approximately nine miles from Inverness, turn left onto the A833 signposted Kiltarlity and Drumnadrochit. After approximately one mile, turn left at the second gate lodge on the left on this road which has red gables and is signposted Belladrum. If you go as far as Brockie’s Lodge Hotel on the A833, you have overshot the turning. You are now on the single track public road that runs through Belladrum Estate.

Tigh Romach

After turning into Belladrum at the gate lodge with red gables, turn left again after approximately 150 yards. Tigh Romach is 100 yards up a slight hill and on the right.

Gardener's Cottage

After turning into Belladrum at the gate lodge with red gables, carry straight on on the single track road, past some houses on the right, until you reach a small wooden bungalow (Walled Garden Cottage) on the corner of a walled garden. Turn right there and Gardener’s cottage is approximately 75 yards on your left.

The Hen House

After turning into Belladrum at the gate lodge with red gables, carry straight on on the single track road, past some houses on the right and eventually the wall of a walled garden. Continue on this road past a Dutch barn and a row of white cottages. The Hen House is at the end of the row of cottages.

The Temple

After turning into Belladrum at the gate lodge with red gables, carry straight on on the single track road, past some houses on the right, until you reach a small wooden bungalow (Walled Garden Cottage) on the corner of a walled garden. Turn right there and the Temple is approximately 50 yards on the right on a small wooded knoll. You are best to park in the car park provided for the wedding to allow access to the Temple steps by the bride’s car, but if you are just visiting, you can drive up the track to the Temple.
